Job Description

The Internal Controller is an experienced person who can balance being close to the businesses with an objective mindset and healthy scepticism.

The Internal Controller is a key business partner in managing the financial and business risks of our unit, advising the management on internal control and risk related matters. Provides consultative and advisory services to MEA subsidiaries.

The Internal Controller is the financial conscious and risk gatekeeper of the business unit. Good communication skills, good at establishing and maintaining business relationships. Quality driven, but also able to think out of the box. Fully understanding the local business processes which enables to challenge the standard control framework in relation to the specific local risks. Influences locally with impact but escalates to central if needed.

The Internal Controller reports to Finance Lead, Turkey.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years working experience in relevant internal control or audit experience which includes evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems
  • Preferably a background experience in international auditing firms (KPMG, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, PWC) and familiarity with FMCG industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting and financial reporting
  • Fluent in English & Turkish (spoken and written) and good computer literacy (e.g. SAP)
